This is why I like to recognize by name those who are with us in spirit while at the wedding ceremony. It might be a parent, grandparent or someone special that we would like to recognize. I learned this from a very wise pastor friend of mine who conducts weddings and funerals.
This video is from one of those special weddings... where everyone was remembered, especially the bride's father during the father-daughter dance. Several men stepped in with love.
